My Struggle

You ever have a neighbor that is really hard to be around? I am not just talking about a few struggles, but it is always an issue? I am dealing with that in my life right now. NOTHING SEAMS TO BE RIGHT IN THIS NEIGHBORS LIFE! She gets upset at noises when we live on a really busy street. Our other neighbors do not complain about this issue she has, just her. She has called the cops on almost every neighbor around us, and even the neighbor on the other side of our house (a street, our house then theirs). She told me today that "she did not want to talk to me about it because she could not trust me". I don't understand... I have the struggle to get really upset inside. I do not show it on the outside, but on the inside I am a wreak!

I did have a breakthrough today though... I asked God to give me strength to realize where I might be wrong, but the rest let go. Even if this issue was "taken care of" in her mind, there would just be something else that she would complain about. I have to realize that it is not me, but it is her. She lives a very dark and lonely life, and has rejected all attempts to share the light of Jesus to her. I just (I don't know why I say 'Just') find myself praying for her.

Christmas Party Last Night

So we had a great turn out to our youth christmas party last night! we had 27 there! I appreciate the Pilisdorf's opening up their house to us, it was a lot of fun and the house was really warm.

What were your thoughts on the party?

For 5 years now they have been actively in my life, but they now are moving on to Colarado!

Colarado has no idea the blessing that is coming their way!!!

WE WILL MISS YOU BOTH!

Lot of People at Church on Sunday

We had our annual Happytime Christmas Program this last Sunday and we had 417 people at church. The gospel was preached and there were things for people to come to after in months to come.

Very encouraging Sunday!!!

Youth Christmas Party

Tonight we are having a youth christmas party at the Pilisdorf's house and I am bringing a white elephant gift that is pretty funny. I will post about it a little later!

I am going to give a $10 starbucks gift card to the person that brings the most creative gift.

Deep Sea Fishing

Yep, I know one of my Christmas Gifts! I am going deep sea fishing Thursday after Christmas with my father in law! I love to fish, and if it is on a boat, even better. I usually get sick, but I will have a pole in my hand and that is all that matters. Besides, I can "Chum" the fish this way, and we might be able to catch more fish!

Dad and I are going out on a private boat, only the two of us and captin will be there. All we were tolf to bring was drinks and of course dranimine!

Ya, I am really looking forward to christmas, I don't know about you, but I am! Amy and I are having our christmas together on Saturday so that we do not have to drive down and presents to so. cal. That will save us a lot of room because we need the room. We are going to have 9 heart beats on the way down in our toyota 4runner! Let me explain...

Despiration

Have you ever thought about the word "Despiration"? I mean, think about it, when someone is despirate, they are focused! When someone is drowning in water, all they are focused on is their next breath. When a wife says, "I think my water broke!", the only thing a husband is (Should be) thinking is here are my keys (to go to the hospital).

What would it be like to be despirate for God? Where He was the only thing that mattered. Would we live differently? What would your physical characterics of your life look like if you were truly despirate for God? Does your like have those characterics in it right now?

The most dangerious prayer you can pray for yourself would be, "God, make me desprate for you!"

I think we all need that desprate prayer!
